Hi Sparky, Fat Alberts and Slim Jims are English run bars, they will be holding a New Years Eve party's. Last year's party was awesome, champagne and party bags, a huge success and they are thinking of arranging something similar this year. When you arrive you can pop into either, find out more details and pick up tickets. I've also heard on the grape vine that the mountain will be arranging a torch lit descent, which will be pretty cool. As and when things are confirmed we will post info on our What's on guide.... here's the link soldeu-andorra.com/whats-on.php
Im in Andorra now, a little unsure of what to do...everyone keeps saying BUDA, but that 240 per person!!! a little much!! Heard Surf bar in Arinsal was doing something good with dinner etc. But a bit of a trek to Arinsal!!
The party is still going ahead and they are charging but I’m not too sure of the price and you will need to purchase tickets in advance, here’s Fat Alberts telephone number +376 851765. The following bars are not charging entry, The Aspen and The Harp. The later is an Irish owned and run bar, they will be playing live music and serving champagne, a guaranteed party atmosphere hehe. Grandvalira will be holding the torch lite mountain descent at 7.
If you are thinking of heading to Arinsal, it takes about the same time from Andorra la Vella as Soldeu.
Happy Partying
Hi! We are coming to Andorra for this new years eve and was wondering if you could help with some advice!
We are wondering where would be good to go and was looking at booking Fat Alberts, however we are staying in El Tarter so was wondering if there are taxis running after midnight to get home (assuming its too far to walk)?
If not where would you suggest to go closer to home? Weve heard l'abarset may be a good option but cant find any info anywhere about what may be going on.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Mike
