  • Hi Chas

It's easily do-able for a day trip - renting a car is the easiest and quickest way and some hotel receptions will arrange that for you (I think Sport Hotels have a deal with Avis). There's a new tunnel which cuts out Andorra la Vella so this year the journey is much quicker.

If you wanted to go on the bus then you'd take the bus to Andorra la Vella and then change, either taking the services bus to La Massana (that's for Pal, and you could take the bus for La Massana, Arinsal or Ordino) or Vallnord run a bus from Andorra la Vella directly to Arcalis.

You can find timetables for the public buses here: transportpublic.ad/Angles/nacional.htm

I will be spending a week in Soldeu and thought it might be nice to go skiing for a day at another resort - Pal or Arcalis. Can you reach these by bus or would you need to hire a car? Is it a realistic day trip?
