I remember having a day off and taking the bus to the bright lights, big city when I was about 13 years old. I bought a flick knife and smuggled it home (completely illegal in UK). All my mates wanted one. Lost it somewhere, or stolen by a mate!!!! Now I'm nearly 50 (next year) and I'm coming back, doubt I'll get another flick knife though!

Grandvalira does not have any free ski buses. It's the local bus service which yes you need to buy a ticket when you get on the bus.

There's a regular bus service from the centre of Soldeu to Andorra la Vella - it's the bus stop by the small car park on the main road.
L3 runs from Soldeu to Andorra la Vella and return, or L4 is the Pas de la Casa bus that runs through Soldeu. -
