  • Brilliant, thanks Steve, to go to canillo or pas, would it just be the same bus as we used to get from the euro ski up to slodeu? If I remember correctly it was?

  • Hi, I've been to soldeu many times in the past but usually stay down the road at the euro ski. This year we will be bringing our 1 year old son on his 1st trip to soldeu. My question is: are there any hotels in soldeu which have public access to their swimming pools? I want to stay in soldeu for convenience but don't want to pay the higher prices of hotels with pools.

Good afternoon people, the sun maybe shining in the uk but I'm thinking about booking my skiing holiday! What I need to know is, are there any places in soldeu that will take children aged 1 year in for child care. I thought you could book them in at the mid point from ages one but I'm now being told it's too young via neilson. I've also heard there is a lady in soldeu that may do it, I think she works there in the winter and elsewhere in the summer. If anyone could shed any light on this it wou…

  • Brilliant, thank you for the fast response!! Gray

  • Hi do you know if you can get a lift pass just as far as the mid stations, in either soldeu or el tarter? I'm coming out next week but we just had some bad news so my girlfriend isn't going to be able to ski I don't think, but would still like to get othe mid station so she can take in the atmosphere and meet me for lunch. Thanks Gray.

  • hi sue, I've stayed there before and will be going again this Sunday. I did go into soldeu last timeI stayed, went up on the bus and got a taxi back. If you went out in el tarter (quieter than soldeu) it's about a 10 min walk back to the hotel, up hill and on the road side. This never bothered me but it may bother some people. The hotel had a good bus service which ran every half hour to and from the lifts in el tarter so getting about was never a problem. Hope this helps. Graham.

  • Staying at euro ski just outside of el tarter, I stayed there a few years ago, food was ok but I think we will venture out atleast a couple of nights for something to eat.

  • If the foods rubbish at my hotel il give that a go!!! Sounds good, and good value!

Il be making a come back to Soldeu/El Tarter after a 4 year gap skiing in Val disere, and I must say I cant wait!!!!! im going with my girlfriend this year (her 2nd time skiing), Val was a bit restrictive for her in her 1st year, so I thought I would bring her to the great slopes of Soldeu, perfect place to master the art!!!!
